Corner View- where has the time gone?

Corner View ~ where has the time gone?

Corner View is a weekly appointment - each Wednesday - created by Jane, where bloggers from all corners of the world share their view on a pre-arranged theme. I started via one of my favorite blogs, FuoriBorgo

You know how the time flies
Only yesterday was the time of our lives
We were born and raised in a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days

(Adele, Someone Like You)

This is Mom. Taken on 4/19/10. That weekend we thought the breast cancer was gone. Her hair was growing back. Her color and energy improving. She was happy. We were happy. It was a summery April day so we celebrated at the zoo in Nashville. It was the first time she had ever been strong enough to carry Eliana in the wrap. I treasure this photo. All the love and tenderness and hope. I imagine her like that now in Heaven. We found out days after this photo that it was back and spread. She started her battle just days before I gave birth, 24 Feb 09, and finished it on Eliana's 2nd birthday morning. This verse brought this image flooding back. So I honor Mom with this my first participation in Corner View.

And this is us in June 08, my first visit in from our station At Minot AFB, North Dakota, pregnant with her first grandchild.
